Clayton Anderson Celebrates Latest in string of Sync Placements For Visionary Media Group

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 21, 2022) — Clayton Anderson, the road tested artist who signed

to Visionary Media Group in 2021, is hitting the fast lane with his second sync placement on

national television in 2022. “Get After It” aired this week kicking off the Ford Truck Month

campaign. You can watch the ad here.

On January 1, Clayton’s upbeat "Nothin' But Net” was chosen by ESPN for use during the

network's award-winning coverage of college basketball season that will run through April. Prior to

that, Clayton’s “Run Wild” was used by the Indianapolis Colts through the 2021 season; a special

placement for him as a ”Indy” native.

Today, “Get After It,” co-written with Nash Overstreet, Shane Stevens, and produced by Nash

Overstreet, and Clayton’s third single released under the Visionary Media Group umbrella, aired

nationally for the first time as part of Ford’s spring campaign that is slated to run through May.

“‘Get After It’ is an all-American anthem from a working-class frontman who's built his career the

old-school way: by focusing on his music, rolling up his sleeves, and hitting the highway,” says

Anastasia Brown, Chief Content Strategist, Visionary Media Group.

Anastasia, who pioneered the film, TV and sync business in Nashville adds, “Sync placements are a

powerful tool for breaking new artists and songs. With a team dedicated to placing music in sync,

this is an area of strength for Visionary Media Group and our artists.”

Clayton, thrilled about hearing his songs through these strategic sync placements says, “‘Get After

It’ is a song celebrating hard work, and the thrill of getting the job done. It’s also a personal tribute

to the long stretch of blacktop that brought me to this point in my career. All this right before CRS,

too!”

Clayton grew up in southern Indiana to a soundtrack of John Mellencamp, Bob Seger, and other

blue-collar icons. Now living in Nashville, he’s delivering singles like "Tennessee (Take Me Down),"

and "Only Us" — which recently passed the One Million stream mark — and opening for artists like

Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band.

A mega sports fan, Clayton has performed National Anthems at sporting events including NASCAR,

NFL, NBA, NCAA Basketball and Pro and College Football airing on CBS, FOX Sports and ESPN.

Clayton is planning a spring tour to follow up his one-of-a-kind 15-date lake tour which saw more

than 1,500 boats per date.

Ron Zamber, Founding Partner of Visionary Media Group, says, “Clayton is an incredible example

of the entrepreneurial artist partner for VMG. He’s driven, creative and has a ‘can do’ attitude in

every way. We look forward to seeing his star continue to rise.”

About Clayton Anderson:

A country singer-songwriter with a midwestern rock flair, Clayton Anderson grew up on the lakes of

Southern Indiana — fishing, boating, and playing his guitar. As a student at Indiana University, he

kicked off his music career, building a grassroots fan following playing local bars and parties. In

2008, he walked onstage at Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star Battle in Cincinnati and walked off as

the winner. He released his debut album, Torn Jeans & Tailgates, in 2011, followed by Right Where I

Belong (2014) and Only to Borrow (2016). Pre-COVID, he toured nonstop, opening for Eric Church,

Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Jimmy Buffett, Thomas Rhett, Lee Brice, and Carly Pearce.

During the pandemic, Anderson got creative, going virtual and diving back into his roots on the

water with a lineup of Lake Tour concerts. To kick off 2022, Anderson released two brand new

singles: “Nothin’ But Net” (produced by Grammy-winning Dave Audé and as heard on ESPN for

College Basketball Season) and “Get After It” (produced by Nash Overstreet), a song that

celebrates hard work and getting the job done. Stay tuned for much more to come from Clayton in

2022.
